As per the latest buzz the popular British singer has revealed that the movie has at last found a director as well as the one who should play his character.
Elton John also do not forget to state that the biopic featuring his ups and downs is still being worked upon and his fans need to wait a little for the final announcement. However, he does not miss out to add that he has made up his mind regarding whom to cast in his much awaited role.
"I've got a wish list of people,” the singer told the L.A. Times when asked about the lucky one who would get a chance to play his role in the planned movie. “No. 1 on my wish list is Justin Timberlake, because he played me before in a David LaChapelle video of ‘Rocket Man’ and was superb.”
John said that the movie would feature some songs from his own hits and probably some new ones as well. Written by the scribe of Billy Elliot, Lee Hall, the singer disclosed that the movie presents more of a “surreal” glance of his life and is not a complete factual account – in vein of the Moulin Rouge. He also said that the director has been finalized though it’s not Moulin Rouge’s Baz Luhrman.
“We tried to get Baz, but Baz is so busy,” he said when asked about who would be directing the film. “We can't announce it yet, but we have got someone on board that we're very excited about.”
John said that currently they are busy on the movie’s script“and then we'll start trying to cast and plan.” Timberlake recently was seen in Friends with Benefits and Bad Teacher.
